About Us

Built around Australian networks

Omnetric supplies solar and wind distribution equipment, transformers and packaged electrical infrastructure matched to the conditions, standards and network requirements of the Australian market.

What we do

Omnetric sources, supplies and delivers the distribution scope of a solar or wind plant — inverter duty transformers, grid connection transformers, central and string inverters, HT and LT switchgear, DC, AC and control cabling, string combiner boxes, earthing and lightning protection, and SCADA, optical fibre and metering.

Behind that sits our distribution transformer and packaged substation range: kiosk substations, fin wall transformers, dry type transformers, FM fire mitigation transformers and standard substation transformers built to AS 60076.

We are a supplier rather than a manufacturer. That is deliberate: it lets us specify the best available product for each project on its merits, instead of fitting every site to a single factory’s range.

Our work concentrates where the grid is changing fastest — utility scale solar, wind and battery storage above all, and alongside it data centre power, EV charging networks, and turnkey industrial and mining grids.

We operate from offices in Sydney, New South Wales and Adelaide, South Australia, serving clients across Australia.

How we work

Product chosen on merit
Because we are not tied to one factory, we specify the best available product for each project rather than the one we happen to build.
One supplier across the plant
Transformers, inverters, switchgear, cable, earthing and SCADA quoted against one schedule, so the pieces arrive matched to each other rather than to four different suppliers' assumptions.
Factory-tested, site-ready
Packaged solutions arrive assembled and fully tested, so on-site civil works and commissioning time both shrink.
Specified for lifetime cost
We favour hermetically sealed and maintenance-free designs that remove recurring service burdens like nitrogen blankets and cable box maintenance.
Compliance as a baseline
The units we supply are built to Australian standards, including AS 60076 for power transformers.
Intake that respects your time
Michael, our AI intake agent, captures full project requirements whenever it suits you and routes them straight to an engineer.
